Clinician Scientist Dr. Kolbinger, MD, PhD is a renowned expert in surgical AI and AI-supported cancer surgery. Fun fact, she’s also a ultra-endurance cyclist who won Transcontinental Race in 2019 and and in her recognition of her scientific work, she was listed on the 2025 Forbes 30 under 30 list.

In the last few months, Scopia Surgical had the opportunity to join the AI stream of the Creative Destruction Lab in Montreal, an objectives-based program for massively scalable, seed-stage science- and technology-based companies. We successfully completed the program in May 2026, bringing an end to a great few months of mentorship with elite talent.
